The welding industry is booming in all aspects, especially in the piping industry, thus creating a shortage of welders in the country. The industry needs highly skilled welders immediately. The traditional method of training takes an unnecessary amount of time. National Welding Academy has pioneered an educational method to expedite the welding training process by eliminating unrelated core academic classes.
As proud members of the American Welding Society Educational Institution, we guarantee professional teaching services. The owner, Dustin McDow; a seasoned pipe welder with over 19yrs experience, taught these classes for Post-Secondary education for over 9 years. In that time he was able to put numerous welders into great jobs where they are flourishing.
National Welding Academy has state of the art welding machines that will allow the operators to make welding more user-friendly; along with traditional welding machines to allow the trainee to be versatile with whatever they might face in the field.

Dustin McDow
President/Principal Instructor, Dustin McDow, has over nineteen years of experience in the welding industry and post-secondary education.
Dustin graduated from Shelton State Community College through their welding and heavy equipment operations program. He then formed his first company, McDow Welding LLC., in 2007. As a pipe welder, Dustin was able to work on the expansion of the South End-Zone of Bryant - Denny Stadium where they welded thousands of feet of pipe. Soon after he realized his calling in teaching and came full circle by teaching with his old instructors at Shelton State Community College. Dustin taught there for 9 years before starting the National Welding Academy.
